When I first found the MisterGuitar website and sent my story in that just sounded like a great title for this song I was already working on. The idea was to do a song that incorporated the way I play plus some Chet 'flavor'. I don't know how many times in the last 38 years I've asked myself, when working on a tune..."How can I get some Chet sound here?..". So many of us try to do that, and for good reason. This is a humble attempt. I've worked this tune to death and the hardest part is stopping work on it. When playing it I hardly ever play it the same twice....and I use varying intros and outros. Feel free to do the same and play around with it! IMO, music should be flexible, as no two people should play the same. This is obviously a tribute song for Chet Atkins. We all owe him a great debt. This is my humble way of honoring him.
